Our Mission

The mission of the Church is to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world by proclaiming the good news of God’s grace and by exemplifying Jesus’ command to love God and neighbor, thus seeking the fulfillment of God’s reign and realm in the world. We are to worship passionately, love extravagantly, and witness boldly.

Our Core Values

We are Christians who live, worship, and serve God in Cedar Grove, West Virginia. We are a Christ-led, independent, spiritual breath of fresh air that changes the world.

The people of the Cedar Grove Christian Ministries Church are a church who believe that the Bible is the inerrant, infallible, inspired word of God. We truly believe in the Word of God and live to bring it to the world in which we live and witness!

Upcoming Events

January 19 – No Services Due to Weather!

Starting January 5th we will be changing our service starting time to 11:00am. Sunday School will begin at 10:00am. We will also be welcoming our new pastor, Pastor Robin McQuain, at that time. Come join us at 11:00am to welcome our new pastor and to hear her first sermon for us.

January 7th – Senior Breakfast at Cheryl’s Diner at 9:00am. All are welcome.

January 9th – Cedar Grove Women’s Fellowship – 12:30am in the Fellowship Hall. All are welcome to attend. If you plan to attend, please notify Donna Elliott at the church office, (304-485-2985), by January 6th.

January 9th – Ham Radio Club meeting at 7:00pm in the Fellowship Hall.
January 16th – Brownies Meet at 7:00pm in the Fellowship Hall.
January 19th – Sanctity of Human Life Sunday/ Baby Bottle Boomerang Begins.
January 23rd – Gideon Meeting Fellowship Hall – 5:30pm
January 28th Finance Committee 6:30pm- Ad Council 7:00pm
Feburary 8th – Valentines Day Dinner at Colombo’s at 5:30pm
